Spent one year on the Kibbutz Yiftah in northern Israel where I also presented the works done during this stay (small self-contained environments using natural materials such as raw cotten and wood).

Exhibition in Mbabane Swaziland (sculpture and drawings). "As smooth as a ravens claw".

1984/1987
Group Exhibitions and one-man shows at the Market Gallery Johannesburg.
Joined the political group Jodac and worked on various group projects involving performances and Adjit Prop. (The aim of the cultural projects were to bridge the social/political divide between black and white. As a result of the State of Emergency and the blanket censorship of all media we as artists, poets, musicians, actors, and writers felt it our responsibility to break the silence).

Stayed at the "Kunsthaus Selk" Schleswig Holstein as an invited guest, which culminated in a closing exhibition.
Completed a three month project on the North Sea island of Föhr which involved the design and construction of an Amphi Theater for the new Cultural Centre of Wyk.
1989/1990
First exhibition in Hamburg Nullkommanix Gallery.
Group exhibition in Schleswig organized by the "Kunsthaus Selk".

Raskolnikow, "Durchsicht: Werkstoff Glas", group show as guest of the Künstlerbund Dresden. An installation using glass,neon-light and tape recording, title "LAGOON".
Project at a seminar "South Africa after the elections".
Art 'otel, Dresden, as part of the "Sommerakademie-Kulturverein riesa efau", an installation using glass, sledge-hammers, title "Co-operation".
